We believe that in order for you to enjoy the full experience of backpacking, and the unique expression of independence it provides, you should be able to carry the necessary items on your own. The gear we provide is very high-quality, and every item has been tested by our own guides on a multitude of adventures. Due to the quality of this gear and the experience we bring to the table, the gear is lightweight and durable. This isn't the stuff you find at your local outfitter supermarket as that gear in not primarily intended for what we do.
The average weight of our adult backpack fully loaded with gear for a 3-4 day adventure weighs in at a mere 20 lbs! Add water and you should not exceed 25lbs. That is a very good backpack weight for the trail and is typically very appreciated by our customers.
