June 19-22, 2008 Asynchronous Fire-Flies Trek.
Spend 3 nights out with us on a easy-going guided trek. Very affordable, and all gear & permits provided. Come along with us an enjoy one of nature's most amazing phenomenon's! If you think you've seen fireflies before... think again. EVERY person that has gone with us on these trips have NEVER seen fireflies that were so bright that the provided enough light to walk by, but these do. Most had never seen fireflies do what THESE fireflies did, either. It truly can't be described, but certainly one of those items on the "list" of things to scratch off before you leave this earth. The "show" doesn't start until 9:30-10PM, but it will be worth the wait.

NOTE: This trip is open to all youngster's 8 and above, must be closely monitored by accompanied parents.

Please read this prior to booking trip. This is a per person payment. If you are booking more than 1 person, please make sure you check the correct quantity in Paypal during your checkout. I have to reserve permits for every individual going on the trek with the National Park Service, so it is vital that you are accurate.
All parties going on any trip with North Florida Expeditions MUST sign a waiver form which will be provided to your during consultation either in person or over the phone. A full packet will be sent to your home address with all of the details, including maps, permit information, and full itinerary. ALL GEAR WILL BE PROVIDED, with the exception of hygienic items, clothing items, food, and boots. We will provide a simple list of items you will need to bring along. Once registered, and you've paid for your slot, you'll be granted permission to the private forum for this trip. You'll be able to plan with everyone else, and exchange information there. Also, the cost per person will NOT change regardless of if you use our gear or not.

The cost (PP) we have determined to be well below what other guides charge for less service. Plus, the upkeep and turnover of keeping gear in top shape requires us to constantly replenish our supplies. Our treks proceed regardless of weather patterns. Due to the unpredictable weather patterns that occur in the National Park, we head out rain or shine. It's all part of the experience.
